Forgive the repost from my other blog but it IS Wednesday and this IS an inspiration board of sorts. Birthday party, wedding, bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner…anything goes in the desert!
Monthly Archives: June 2010Max & Margaux’s Sneak Peek #2 from Shark Pig Wow. I was tearing up just from this sneak peek! I can’t wait for the rest! {photo by me of the hostess drinking some mimosa out of a baby bottle with a barber straw!} I got to design and plan a baby shower yesterday. It was pretty darn cute if I do say so myself. And teeny tiny baby clothes are the most adorable things I have ever seen! mmmm… mimosas. um, that is SUCH a great idea, never seen it before, totally witty and fun! sidenote: love her dress. -elizabeth I absolutely love love love this story. I get chills every time I think about it because I’m a big, sissy, romantic. We were hanging out with Aimee and Dorian and I was telling Aimee about the Disney World couple and she hit me with an even CRAZIER story about her and Dorian. Turns out,… omg that is TOO sweet!!!! CRAZY story and dorian!! my husband and i grew up only two streets over from each other, but didn't know it until YEARS later – after he moved to and back from st. louis. awww love ok that is just crazy! i love stories like that. I think the anchor steams may of made me leave out part of the story we did meet and became friends in florida but did not start dating until colorado..Dorian laid on top of me until I kissed him…quite the tenacious guy!! Well, my story isn't quite as crazy but…My guy and I both grew up an hour from Boston in different directions. Somehow we ended up at the same college in Virginia in the same major program. We became acquainted in class but that was it. I graduated before him and asked for his number just because I had a summer job near his home. But I never called because I knew he had a girlfriend. I moved out west for a while but got another job near where he grew up 2 years later. During my interview my soon to be boss asked if I knew him because he was working there and she saw that we had gone to the same college – for some reason I blushed even though I had barely known him! So we reconnected, started dating, and are now engaged after 4 solid years. Woo hoo! All I can say is wow! I created this little California gypsy-inspired board for our photo shoot. PS: I don’t know why my picture credits keep getting all wonky but the bottom right photo is actually from the Bash, Please shoot at Once Wed. I need to give those girls the proper recognition because they inspire me every day! I love this board and all things gypsy! Love the board and LOVE the photoshoot! SO incredible. love love love the whole photoshoot. i cannot wait to see more collaboration from all of you! You rock so hard. Thanks for the love, you inspire us too. XO Beautiful colors! Our friends Aimee and Dorian were sweet enough to step out from behind the camera to model for the first half of our shoot. I am so happy to have met these two. They have such beautiful spirits and are so completely in love it is ridiculous (they have known each other 18 years, been… i looooooooooove this!!! oh my god gorgeous you guys!!!!!!!!! Some more eye candy from the shoot is up on The Sweetest Occasion! We created a love spot tucked away in the wildflower fields for our beautiful couple. We created an alternative to the traditional guest book and an easy DIY project to recreate. All the instructions are up on The Sweetest Occasion. The Style:… I am beyond thrilled to finally be able to share the super secret project I was working on with flutter glass photography, Erin Ever After and The White Flower Boutique. Our entry for the Inspired Creations contest at The Sweetest Occasion and Elizabeth Anne Designs is up and I could not be happier with how… beautiful! love everything about this. Thank you, Paige!
