About SEJ and Co.
Sweet Emilia Jane, a boutique event planning and design company, was founded in 2009 by Emilia McCool, a certified wedding coordinator and lover of all things glamorous, whimsical and wild.
SEJ specializes in unique events filled with personality, style and wonder! We believe that customs and traditions are important if they are meaningful to you and not just because everyone else does them. We want you to spend the day of your event laughing, eating and dancing and let us sweat the rest.
We are compulsive list-makers and crafters. We love being organized and getting our hands dirty. We do things a little differently around here and are happiest when we are creating something thoughtful and new that showcases our clients’ personalities and styles. We are event enthusiasts and savvy when it comes to social graces so each celebration can go off without a hitch!
Starting in 2016 we will be offering our services in New England as well as Southern California and beyond!
Emilia spent her childhood running around in jumpers, making sun prints and finding fairies in small town New England. Her 20s found her on the West Coast in sunny California making dances, working with artists and coordinating large-scale performing arts productions. Somewhere in the middle of creating spreadsheets and making art Emilia found her happy place and Sweet Emilia Jane was born.
With a background in the arts and over 10 years of experience in events and hospitality she has everything it takes to bring your wedding dreams to life!
Our offices hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9am-6pm. We are often away at events on the weekends and are closed on Mondays and Wednesdays.
We are currently only taking on Event Coordination Clients with our Associate Coordinator for 2016. Full and Partial available for 2017. Please email us to set up an appointment.
