I was just fondly remembering Jenn and Stephen’s bohemian wedding at Huron Substation. I can’t believe it’s been almost three years since these two lovely people tied the knot! It is still one of my favorite weddings. The stills that The Why We Love captured are pure magic.
Happy New Year! We are so excited to be kicking off our SEVENTH year planning and designing weddings! We couldn’t be more in love with our 2016 clients and can’t wait for everything that’s in store. To celebrate we wanted to share a New Year’s Eve wedding from last year with one of the most gorgeous, genuine and sweet couples on the planet. Their wedding was full of sparkle, light, love and laughter.
Since we headed out to Joshua Tree a couple of weekends ago for an awesome autumn desert wedding I thought it would be appropriate to share this fun and fabulous desert wedding from earlier this year. Anna and Max are a creative, talented and incredible couple that I just adored working with on their modern DIY wedding at 29 Palms Inn (LOVE this venue!). One of my absolute fav photographers, Fondly Forever, was there to capture every perfect moment. The bride and groom handcrafted everything from the invitations to the dip-died tablecloths. I love that Anna wore the beaded Mara Hoffman bustier (a favorite from our tropical shoot)!
This pastel-hued vineyard wedding has everything – it is elegant, romantic and personal, has the perfect setting, and the most adorable couple. We feel so honored that we got to play a small part in what was a beyond epic day. The team that day at Saddlerock were top-notch and every detail just perfectly executed. We always love being at the dome at Saddlerock Ranch and this is one of our all-time favorites! See more on Green Wedding Shoes!

Love is a force more formidable than any other. It is invisible—it cannot be seen or measured, yet it is powerful enough to transform you in a moment, and offer you more joy than any material possession could.—Barbara De Angelis
We joined forces with some of the most fabulous vendors in the biz – Whiskers and Willows, Type and Title, Pow Wow, Borrowed Blu, Thorne Artistry, Dress Theory and Beauty by Stacey – and the result was pure magic. The inspiration came from the above quote as well as all that woo-woo stuff I love. You can see so much more on 100 Layer Cake today!

I can’t believe I never shared the images from this fantasic event with you! Awhile back the incredible Jaime from Wild Heart Events asked us to design a table for their epic Jam Event in Santa Barbara. The greenhouse venue was to-die for and all the vendors that Jaime gathered together were amazing. We had access to some of the best rentals and decor which makes our job pretty easy! We were paired up perfectly with a Woodstock-theme and created a peace sign centerpiece, floral placemats, flower crown and boutonniere place cards and a crazy, flower explosion guitar. Flower power to the max! A BIG THANK YOU to Borrowed Blu for letting me borrow her awesome dip-dyed napkins!

A couple of months ago we were beyond honored to be asked to join a stellar crew of vendors at the West Elm and Green Wedding Shoes Wedding Party they held in the Beverly Hills store. Of course, being paired up with our favorite Little Branch gals is always a treat but to also share the store with Bash Please, Moon Canyon, Primary Petals, Firefly Events, Shindig Chic and so, so many more amazing, talented people. I LOVED our set-up and I hope one of you lovelies hires us to recreate this for a wedding because it’s so much fun! The inspiration board we were given was based on West Elm’s summer catalog which had a Joshua Tree meets Moroccan vibe. Hello so up our alley! See more of Mary Costa’s photos on GWS!
Last spring we were lucky enough to be a part of an epic DIY wedding at the Moniker Warehouse in San Diego. Not only were the bride and groom uber-creative and talented (they designed and produced most of the decor for their modern, bohemian, industrial, camping-inspired party) but the team they put together was pretty much the dreamiest – PowWow, MIHO, Let’s Frolic Together, Mostra Coffee. It doesn’t get much better than that!
