I met Maryanne and Matt when they were stocking up on wedding gear and bought some items from my studio sale. It turned out that they had to quickly change venues and needed some help with coordinating in the new space. It was quite the serendipitous meeting as I was already planning on being at their wedding with The Little Branch. I am so thrilled that they brought us on board to help execute their dreamy woodsy wedding. There was so much love surrounding every moment and the heart and soul that Maryanne and Matt put into each and every detail, that Martina Micko and Christian and Reinna captured, was incredible. There is even more up on Ruffled Blog too!
Apparently this is the year of close friends and family getting married and we are loving every minute of it! A dear, dear friend of ours got hitched at Luce Loft in San Diego and it was just amazing. Of course, The Heart’s Haven was there to capture every detail! We tucked succulents and airplants into lush eucalyptus garlands with geometric lanterns, terrariums and candles mixed throughout. I loved the organic meets industrial vibe with an edgy flair that was so fitting of Sarah and Jay.
There aren’t too many things more awesome then being a part of your best friend’s wedding. I was lucky enough to get to help my dearest friends Dannikke and Evan with some of their planning, design and flowers for their epic ranch wedding in Santa Barbara. He is a super talented designer and she is a kickass TV/Film coordinator so obviously they took the design blueprint I made for them and created the most awesome, branded decor I’ve ever seen from the invitations to their cornhole boards! But the best part of the weekend had to be being surrounded by all the love from their family and friends at the beautiful Circle Bar B Ranch. Oh yeah and doing the wave during the ceremony! Definitely a first for me! This just a handful of the delightful moments captured by The Heart’s Haven.

To say I adore these two is a huge understatement. Sarah and Dre just radiate coolness but they are also two of the most genuine, open-hearted and light-filled people I’ve ever met. Their rad, desert wedding in Pioneertown was the perfect representation of their style and relaxed but cool vibe. It was also one of the most love-filled celebrations I’ve had the honor of attending.

I am way behind on sharing all the lovely events we’ve been lucky enough to be a part of over the past couple of years. I am so happy to be able to break the radio silence with one of my favorite weddings ever. Tanah and Lev could not be more kind, genuine, considerate and amazing. It was such an honor getting to know them throughout the planning process and being able to put together a magical, elegantly bohemian wedding in Tanah’s parents’ backyard. When clients’ trust us and the amazing vendors we recommend the result is just breathtaking. We were able to hand-craft their chuppah, work with the talented Olive Willow Designs, pick pieces from our favorite gal The Hostess Haven and rock out with our best buds Dart DJ. The Knot Southern California featured this in their latest issue and we are just pleased as punch! Birds of a Feather nailed it with the photos like always!

I was just fondly remembering Jenn and Stephen’s bohemian wedding at Huron Substation. I can’t believe it’s been almost three years since these two lovely people tied the knot! It is still one of my favorite weddings. The stills that The Why We Love captured are pure magic.
Happy New Year! We are so excited to be kicking off our SEVENTH year planning and designing weddings! We couldn’t be more in love with our 2016 clients and can’t wait for everything that’s in store. To celebrate we wanted to share a New Year’s Eve wedding from last year with one of the most gorgeous, genuine and sweet couples on the planet. Their wedding was full of sparkle, light, love and laughter.
Since we headed out to Joshua Tree a couple of weekends ago for an awesome autumn desert wedding I thought it would be appropriate to share this fun and fabulous desert wedding from earlier this year. Anna and Max are a creative, talented and incredible couple that I just adored working with on their modern DIY wedding at 29 Palms Inn (LOVE this venue!). One of my absolute fav photographers, Fondly Forever, was there to capture every perfect moment. The bride and groom handcrafted everything from the invitations to the dip-died tablecloths. I love that Anna wore the beaded Mara Hoffman bustier (a favorite from our tropical shoot)!
