Speaking of gorgeous, coming up on November 24th we have a wedding at the spectacular Rancho Las Lomas in Orange County.  We are doing design, florals and coordination for this one and we’re looking for a couple fabulous interns to help us execute everything the day-of.  If you have an interest in floral design, event planning and event design you will definitely want to be a part of this wedding.  Plus Rancho Las Lomas has tigers!!!!

Yesterday I got to work with my dream clients at one of my favorite venues with some of my favorite vendors, my favorite caterer and all photographed by one of my favorite photographers.  Needless to say it was a dream day and everything was absolutely gorgeous!  Though I helped out with the design concept the creative and pretty-as-can-be bride created most of the details and we installed and styled everything for her from the fringe ceremony curtains to the hanging mirror bar signs.  We were busy, busy bees getting our floral on too!  If you follow me on Instagram then you know that I was documenting every detail from the day!

Sneak Peek: Fizz + Frills Modern Garden Wedding Table Inspiration

We had a great time at Fizz and Frills yesterday!  The Utterly Engaged girls really put on a fantastic event at Pandora on Green (can I do a wedding here PLEASE!).  Here’s a couple photos I snapped of our table.  I wanted to create an overgrown garden look with a modern feel.  Melinda painted the prettiest watercolor for me and I used that as the main ingredient in all the paper goods and inspiration for the rest of the display.  Meg from The Little Branch killed it as always with framed ivy for our escort cards and the most gorgeous, lush centerpiece ever.

A couple of weeks ago we headed down to San Juan Capistrano for one of the most killer weddings + dance parties we have ever coordinated.  I knew this was going to be a good time since the bride is friends with this awesome couple (who had their own dance party to rival all dance parties) and this group did not disappoint.  They danced their little hearts out until the wee hours of the night but could have easily gone until the break of dawn!  Not only was it one spectacular party but the setting was nothing short of romantic.  Serra Plaza is a little hidden gem with beautiful backdrops and a phenomenal staff.  I can’t wait to be able to work down there again!  Christopher Todd Studios’ amazing photos were recently featured in Style Unveiled + I just had to share them here.  How adorable are these two???  They are so in love and so sweet!

We filled the fountain with ferns + flowers.  I love how it turned out.  Her bouquet is one of my favorites that I’ve ever made too with garden roses, dahlias, calla lilys + feathers.  Traditional but with a touch of boho!

Amber + Mark wanted elegant but bohemian so we filled vintage amber + brass pieces with lush, vibrant blooms and feathers. The bouquets were repurposed at the head table.  Serra Plaza’s collection of amber votives fit right in!

I tell ya…when you get to work with your best friends and favorite vendors at a wedding some serious magic happens.  This past weekend we created a dreamy, vintage-y, beach wedding for one of the sweetest couples I’ve worked with yet and we got to party with our besties Captured by Aimee, The Little Branch and PowWow.

We also met some new friends who I hope, hope, hope we get to work with again and again and again.  Bryan at Pacific Entertainment might be my new favorite DJ.  He blends great tunes and exceptional emcee-ing like I’ve never seen before.  He made my job so much easier, has an all-around great attitude (seriously he’s the nicest guy!) and kept the dance floor full all night long!  And the big hit of night had to be The Vintage Vault – a photo booth like no other!  This adorable husband and wife team designed and built a genius photo booth set up with props and fun backdrops.  We love them!  Come to every wedding please!

Excited doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel about getting to share this AWESOME wedding with you.  When Fern asked me to help her create + plan a modern, fairy-tale, Marie Antoinette-inspired wedding at Calamigos Ranch I’m pretty sure my answer was “UM, YES, PLEASE”!  Fern is a super-duper creative gal so she wanted to craft a lot of the pieces herself like the invitations, escort flags + paper flowers.  But I couldn’t resist creating some elements myself like from bright, bold, pom arches to french signs.
