Have you heard??? Utterly Engaged just sent out the very first run of their brand new PRINT magazine! I can’t wait to get my hands on mine! Have you ordered yours yet? If not, you still can but make sure you order it soon before they are all gone! February 8th is the last chance to order. And keep your eyes peeled for the gorgeous shoot we put together at LoftSEVEN with Be Inspired PR, Kurt Boomer, Dolce Designs, Artistry by Danika and so many other top notch vendors. Here is a little sneak peek but, trust me, you definitely want to see the rest of it!
It doesn’t get much better than waking up on a Monday morning to find out that one of your all-time favorite weddings is featured on Style Me Pretty! And that also means that I get to finally share these images from the phenomenal talent Elan Klein! This day pretty much had the dream team of vendors – Elan, 24 Carrots, Pow Wow Vintage Rentals, Borrowed Blu, Austin Hendrix, Thorne Artistry, Modern 8 Films, and Smile Booth! And, of course, the dreamiest of venues – Rancho Las Lomas. This place is pure magic with the gorgeous teatro, stunning gardens, a cozy reception room and tigers! June and Daniel, who are two of the sweetest people ever, handcrafted a lot of the decor themselves like the wood signs, table numbers and adorable lace covered potted succulents. We brought in a mix of vintage bud vases filled with sweet, soft-hued stems and, paired with Borrowed Blu’s handmade napkins and runners and Pow Wow’s fun, vintage glassware, the setting was beyond romantic!

We helped so many awesome couples have their dream weddings this year and I wish that I could share every single one with you but, unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a little bit longer since some are awaiting publication on our favorite blogs. BUT not only is this a celebration of a new year it is also our big Five Year Anniversary! Over the next few days we’re going to be sharing some of our favorite weddings and photo shoots from the past five years!
Our first wedding! Erin and Chuck got married at the lovely Dana Powers House. Erin created all the beautiful decor and designs herself and we set-up and styled everything on the day-of. We also made the cupcakes….hence the SWEET in Sweet Emilia Jane. These two just had gorgeous twins and we couldn’t be happier for them!

It’s that time of year again! We’re decking the halls, getting our nog on and….hiring a Winter Intern! yay! If you love all things weddings, design, organization and good times then come join our team. Must be available to come to our Pasadena studio 1-2 times a week to get the studio Wedding Season ready, research, craft and prepare for the first few weddings of the year. We’ll get started after the New Year!
Please email us your resume and tell us a little bit about yourself!
Lauren and Adam were married last spring at La Valencia in La Jolla on the most beautiful, clear day. It was a day full of love, joy, laughter and lots and lots of dancing! Lauren is one of the sweetest brides I’ve ever met and I was so thrilled to give her design guidance throughout the planning process for her modern meets rustic meets beach-side wedding, create luscious, organically modern floral arrangements and help bring all the details together on the big day! The photography husband and wife duo, Brett & Emily were so great to work with and their photos are stunning!

I was so honored when two of my favorite people – Aimee and Dorian – asked me to help style their anniversary shoot. We wanted to create a warm, whimsical, bohemian love nest using their beloved Vanagon as the centerpiece to really set the scene. With lots of cozy layers, patterns and texture and, of course, these two gorgeous love birds, the sunset shoot was so beyond romantic and totally magical. The delightful and darling Ashley Kelemen, who is the rock star behind the lens, created something truly special for these two (plus bitty baby!). These photos are a dream! Check more out on Ashley’s blog and Wedding Sparrow!
Oh, where do I even begin with Abigail and Kenan? These are two of the most beautiful people – inside and out – that I have ever met. There is no doubt that they are insanely gorgeous but they are also so sweet, kind, generous and thoughtful. We had such a blast coordinating their wedding and I was beyond honored to design their personal flowers. When Abigail told me she wanted something unique, bold, bohemian and modern my heart fluttered with excitement. This was so up my alley and I am crazy about how her bouquet turned out. The Figueroa Hotel with all its quirkiness, charm and out-of-this-world Moroccan-inspired interiors was the dreamiest of venues and so perfect for this super fun-filled evening.
And, of course, onelove photography can do no wrong in my eyes. I always love working with Sara and her team of stellar photographers.
Abigail left me the sweetest review on Wedding Wire too!
“Emilia is a true gem. She served as our month of coordinator and handled all of the logistical, floral and decorative elements of our wedding. We can’t say enough about working with her – she handled everything throughout the process so calmly and professionally – everyone that interacted with her amongst our friends, family and vendors commented on how wonderful she was. She has excellent taste and style, and went above and beyond to add unexpected and beautiful details throughout our event.”
