And, big surprise, my absolute favorite table from the inspiration shoots we did with Captured by Aimee has to be the bohemian look.  My awesome assistant, Melinda, helped come up with the concept and design elements for this one and I just love how it all came together.  I love the rich textures, colors….it’s just gorgeous!  Make sure you check out the feature on Style Me Pretty California too!

I’m so happy to be able to feature the second tablescape from the project I worked on with Captured by Aimee!  We took three standard wedding motifs – classic, modern and bohemian – and gave them our own personal twist.  This is our rose pink and gold classic table filled with romantic, dreamy details.  Perfect for the modern girly girl.  You can see even more details at Style Me Pretty today!

And check out our first table – Modern Teal + Gold – right here!

I’ve been getting a lot of love on Pinterest lately for one of the very first photo shoots that I ever did with Erin Ever After and flutter glass Photography!  Even though it’s more than two years old now I think it still holds up pretty well!  Bright pops of coral and ombre, succulents and bohemian details are trends that are still going strong!  You can see even more photos from this shoot on The Sweetest Occasion and Style Me Pretty!

How very beautiful! I love the colors, and so many wonderful details! Just perfect.ReplyCancel

The past few months have been totally awesome and full of some of the best weddings I’ve ever worked (and the wedding streak is nowhere NEAR over!).  When we can my assistants and I have been Instagraming it up and I just had to show you these sneak peeks.  I can’t wait to see the real photos by some truly amazing photographers!

These are from the wedding over this past weekend at Bandy Canyon Ranch in Escondido.  The entire day was full of so much joy and love.  I was so honored to be a part of it (even though this was probably the hardest my team and I have ever worked! Phew!).  It was my first Indian wedding and I have to say that the Baraat is my new favorite wedding tradition!  I helped with coordination AND flowers for this one.  I’m kind of obsessed with this bouquet!

A couple weekends ago we coordinated a very chill, modern and fun wedding at The Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach.  This wedding was a dream with some seriously rad vendors like Floret Cadet and Susan Dean.  I have to say that the staff at The Shade are phenomenal and really made it easy for us!

The weekend before that (I told you it’s been a busy few months) was the best SmogShoppe wedding I’ve seen yet!  Carol, the bride, put everything together in 3 months including all the awesome details (like chevron runners and GIANT balloons).  I helped her pull the last minute details together as well as flowers and coordination on the day!  Another day with great vendors like Kari Kocher, DJ Lady Sinclair and Cake Monkey (hands down the BEST cake I’ve had in my life)!

And we kicked off our wedding season with an elegantly modern wedding with one of my favorite couples!  These two are the cutest and I loved helping them plan + style their wedding.  Another wedding working with some of my favs like The Little Branch (our first of MANY weddings this year!).  And I totally blame this wedding for my new addiction to ‘Lette Macarons!  I can’t WAIT to see photos from my photog favorites Paul von Rieter and Élan Klein!

I could not have done these weddings with out my INSANELY RAD assistants – Melinda, Cassi, Margot, Maddie, Whitney, Christina and Heather!  Thank you, girls!  You guys rock something fierce!

I’m REALLY excited to finally be able to share some of this project with you.  I wanted to create a series of table inspiration shoots based on typical wedding styles without any cheesy or kitschy themes.  I chose modern, bohemian and classic/traditional as my jumping off points and brought in fun, unique details for a little bit of a twist.

I also wanted to create these inspiration shoots to show off a new aspect of the SEJ repertoire.  I’ve slowly been adding paper goods to the whole sh-bang and now they’re ready to make their debut.  For these shoot, I created all the stationery – invitations, place cards, menus as well as the overall design, florals and coordination (with the help of my assistant-extraordinaire, Melinda!).

Each table was shot by my favorite shutterbug and bestie, Captured by Aimee!  And we are SUPER THRILLED that the modern table was featured on Green Wedding Shoes today so go check it out!  And here are a few of my fav shots!

Stay tuned for the other two shoots (hopefully) coming soon to a blog near you!!!

xoxo.

I went home to Massachusetts this week because my amazing mother and sister threw me a baby shower!  It was whirlwind trip and I wish I could have stayed longer with my family and friends but it was so wonderful to see everyone.  I’m very lucky to have some pretty spectacular women in my life including friends who I have known for 30, 20, 10 years and aunts, cousins and family friends who are so supportive and caring.  My sister – who is the most creative, organized and talented person I know – definitely outdid herself with the planning, baking and crafting for this party.  I think we may need to make this business a bi-coastal, family affair.  I’ve been trying to recruit her to come out to California and be my business partners for years!  Here are some of the photos I took of the shower…all design, planning, baking, cooking, etc. by my mom and sis!  I’m obsessed with those giant paper flowers!
