A few months ago I got to work with a DREAM TEAM in Temecula on one of the prettiest inspiration shoots.  The new vineyard-setting venue in Temecula was the perfect backdrop for our Italian-inspired romance with whimsical florals, elegant place settings and a color palette that I am totally crushing on right now!  Check it all out on Style Me Pretty!!!

A couple of months ago I made three bouquets for an adorable bride of mine to choose from on her wedding day.  The best of the bunch was chosen but I still love the two runners up.  Luckily favorite friend and photographer, Captured by Aimee, was there to snap these pics!

This sweet, at home wedding will be featured on Style Me Pretty soon so I’ll get to share the winning bouquet with you then!

This wedding was SO much fun to plan, design for and coordinate!  And I’m so thankful that I got to work with my favorite photographer and best friend Captured by Aimee!  How gorgeous are these photos!  Check out our feature from last week on Style Me Pretty to see even more!

OK…so this is not wedding related – well, not really.  But it is proof that I have some of the most awesome clients around.  A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to be a part of the super fun wedding at LoftSeven of the ever-so-lovely Kristen and her cool-as-hell hubby Tom.  And I have to give Kristen’s candle company – Pommes Frites – a little plug because my house smells so freaking good right now I can’t stand it!  Who would ever know that there are dirty diapers and a stinky dog lurking just around the corner?  Nobody!  Because this Teakwood & Tobacco soy candle is doing it’s job!  LOVE it!  I need to order like a year’s supply!

And, hey, do I spied a Pommes Frites candle sitting on designlovefest’s coffee table!!!??

++this is not a sponsored post…I really think Pommes Frites is the bees knees!

A couple months ago I got the chance to participate in a great event here in LA.  When I was engaged back in 2009/2010 The NotWedding in Atlanta was one of the few sources for non-traditional wedding inspiration and I always hoped that it would make its way to the west coast so to say I was excited to be asked to join the very first LA event would be a big understatement.  We got to design several tables at the event from the linens to the centerpieces using their neon, urban chic board for inspiration. We found ourselves also inspired by Kate Spade, geometric shapes and a little touch of retro.   I personally LOVE how the centerpieces turned out and that the tables are a little more modern, bold and playful…a look I’d love to recreate for a real wedding!  Big thanks to Candice Benjamin for these photos!

See more from the event here!

Loving the designs and photos, so original and fresh! I love the colour scheme featured here for the hanging paper garlands, the flowers and the wedding invitations (?) are nicely done, though it isn’t too clear 🙂 What are in the striped paper bags/pouches on the plates? Are those bombonieres?ReplyCancel
