OK. I know I am REALLY bad at giving sneak peeks of weddings and then never following through with the real deal. Well, there was NO WAY I was going to let myself get away with not showing you my favs from Miki and Russel’s Point Vicente Interpretive Center wedding shot by the ever-so-fabulous-o Katie Neal Photo. We were soooooo thrilled to be featured on 100 Layer Cake yesterday too!
OK…so I decided to just put all the details on here in no particular order because I LOVE them all! There were so many fun, quirky pieces that went into making this an awesome day. I had a vision of draping rope over all the walls and my friend + artist, Jessica Pezalla, made that happen by installing my rope decor as well as Miki’s fun paper cranes. For the tables, we made modern cactus and succulent orb terrariums paired with vintage bottles, cholla branches, feathers and brightly colored flowers. The napkins were way more pink than the coral they were supposed to be BUT they still look rad against the more neutral backdrop. Miki and Russel added in loads of personal touches like the thrifted casette tape covers as table numbers, the pinata that Miki’s dad opened up at the end of the night and, of course, multiple musical numbers, a salsa dance lesson and loads of personality!
