Oh, where do I even begin with Abigail and Kenan?  These are two of the most beautiful people – inside and out – that I have ever met.  There is no doubt that they are insanely gorgeous but they are also so sweet, kind, generous and thoughtful.  We had such a blast coordinating their wedding and I was beyond honored to design their personal flowers.  When Abigail told me she wanted something unique, bold, bohemian and modern my heart fluttered with excitement.  This was so up my alley and I am crazy about how her bouquet turned out.  The Figueroa Hotel with all its quirkiness, charm and out-of-this-world Moroccan-inspired interiors was the dreamiest of venues and so perfect for this super fun-filled evening.

And, of course, onelove photography can do no wrong in my eyes.  I always love working with Sara and her team of stellar photographers.

Abigail left me the sweetest review on Wedding Wire too!

“Emilia is a true gem. She served as our month of coordinator and handled all of the logistical, floral and decorative elements of our wedding. We can’t say enough about working with her – she handled everything throughout the process so calmly and professionally – everyone that interacted with her amongst our friends, family and vendors commented on how wonderful she was. She has excellent taste and style, and went above and beyond to add unexpected and beautiful details throughout our event.”

For our photo shoot invitations we really wanted to showcase the dreamy surroundings of our Temecula venue.  The photographs by the  fabulously talented Miss Ashley Kelemen of the luscious rolling hills were the perfect backdrop for our suite and I imagine that guests would be so excited knowing they were headed to such a beautiful setting after spying these stunning views.

Temecula Photography Wedding Invitations

This was quite an easy project and one that would be so simple to recreate for your own wedding if you have a camera and an itsy bitsy bit of design know-how.  Give your guests a glimpse of what they can expect at your upcoming nuptials with a snapshot of your beautiful wedding venue or the city where it will be held.  A city skyline or a beach at sunset can set the tone for a fun, destination wedding!  We used photos for both the Save-the-Date postcard and RSVP card with the invitation.

Take a good camera along to one of your venue visits and keep your eye open for either a great view or perfect detail.  The key is to make sure there is a good amount of space – as in the sky in our photos – to put your text.  If your photographer is coming along for a site visit anyway maybe they’ll snap a photo or two for you!

Once you get your photos home just upload them into your preferred design software program.  Photoshop or something fancy like that is good but you can even use something simple and user-friendly.

Find a pretty font…there are plenty of great free options out there.   I used Jellyka Delicious Cake.  I love the look of the white text against the romantic, Wuthering Heights-esque sky.

Photograph Invitations

Print it on the front-side of your Save-the-Date, Invitation  or RSVP Card.  See…easy peasy!

A few months ago I got to work with a DREAM TEAM in Temecula on one of the prettiest inspiration shoots.  The new vineyard-setting venue in Temecula was the perfect backdrop for our Italian-inspired romance with whimsical florals, elegant place settings and a color palette that I am totally crushing on right now!  Check it all out on Style Me Pretty!!!

A couple of months ago I made three bouquets for an adorable bride of mine to choose from on her wedding day.  The best of the bunch was chosen but I still love the two runners up.  Luckily favorite friend and photographer, Captured by Aimee, was there to snap these pics!

This sweet, at home wedding will be featured on Style Me Pretty soon so I’ll get to share the winning bouquet with you then!

This wedding was SO much fun to plan, design for and coordinate!  And I’m so thankful that I got to work with my favorite photographer and best friend Captured by Aimee!  How gorgeous are these photos!  Check out our feature from last week on Style Me Pretty to see even more!

OK…so this is not wedding related – well, not really.  But it is proof that I have some of the most awesome clients around.  A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to be a part of the super fun wedding at LoftSeven of the ever-so-lovely Kristen and her cool-as-hell hubby Tom.  And I have to give Kristen’s candle company – Pommes Frites – a little plug because my house smells so freaking good right now I can’t stand it!  Who would ever know that there are dirty diapers and a stinky dog lurking just around the corner?  Nobody!  Because this Teakwood & Tobacco soy candle is doing it’s job!  LOVE it!  I need to order like a year’s supply!

And, hey, do I spied a Pommes Frites candle sitting on designlovefest’s coffee table!!!??

++this is not a sponsored post…I really think Pommes Frites is the bees knees!
